Eden Hazard and Alvaro Morata were both the target in Chelsea’s 4-0 win over West Brom
Antonio Conte admits his only regret over the blossoming partnership between Alvaro Morata and Eden Hazard is that it took so long for him to be able to pair them together. Hazard has rediscovered his best form in recent weeks having missed the start of the season following ankle surgery in the summer. The Belgian international scored twice in the 4-0 win over West Brom which pushed Baggies manager Tony Pulis closer to the sack and had a hand in Morata’s opener, the Spaniard’s ninth goal of an increasingly impressive debut season in English football.
On Hazard’s sparkling form, he added: ‘Today Eden played very well. I think he showed a great patience, despite some situations very strong. ‘I played and I understand when you are against these types of players it is difficult to stop them, you try to find a different way to stop them. ‘He has to continue in this way now that he is 100% He is enjoying to play with us.
