David Luiz’s future on the pitch may remain the subject of plenty of speculation, but should he decide to pack in football he may just manage to pick up a job as Chelsea‘s new barber.
The Brazilian centre-back has played only once since a public falling out with Blues boss Antonio Conte after a humiliating 3-0 defeat to Roma at the end of October and will miss the Champions League group stage clash with Atletico Madrid on Tuesday due to a knee injury.
Conte played down talk of a rift with the former Paris Saint-Germain defender and he seems to have remained a popular figure around Stamford Bridge.
And while he’s unable to participate in Chelsea’s next game, he has been helping team-mate Eden Hazard by acting as the club’s new barber.
Hazard branded the 30-year-old as the ‘new Cobham barber’ alongside a picture of Luiz giving him a Turkish shave on Instagram.
‘The new Cobham barber, you have to trust your family,’ he wrote.
‘Good job @davidluiz_4 but please my friends don’t try this at home!’
